| Now that Joel has finally posted his, I can post mine. I like to steal from him. :)
To 2007 - '06 was good, may '07 be better.
1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? 2004 - Worked retail and go bowling w/ C lo, Paul, Keedai, and Jonny 
2005 - Graduated, interviewed, made connections, and entered the "real world." 2006 - First car accident. Well. More of a fender bender. But I was traumatized just the same.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? 2004 - No and yes. kept them all so far. 
2005 - I don't even remember my resolutions from last year. But this
year, I will memorize more Bible verses and wear my retainer at night. 2006 - I didn't wear my retainer, but I did memorize a lot more verses. New resolutions... working out and behing healthier and happier.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? 2004 - ummm Anita? but she's halfway around the world...
2005 - Jewell. shocked us half to death w/ the news, but welcome Baby George. 2006 - Nope. Not this year.
4. Did anyone close to you die? 2004 - no one in my immediate circle...
2005 - no one 2006 - No one close.
5. What countries did you visit? 2004 - No where.
2005 - Stayed here again. 2006 - No where. 3 years in a row. Wow. That's depressing.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? 2004 - Knowledge of what i'm gonna be doing after grad...
2005 - More self-discipline. Approval. 2006 - Be healthier. Like what I do more.
7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? 2004 - June 24th - Prettiest bday cake i made for my sister
June 28th - Saddest birthday
August 13th - DF 2004 October 2nd - LSATs and Jeremy and Karen's Wedding! October 9 - 900th.
2005 - March 5th~March 13th - Spring Break in Wheaton
May 8th - Graduation and saying goodbye
July 10th - The start of a new era and CIA...
July 29th - Wheaton/St. Louis trip & Vince/Diana wedding
Sept 6th - Start new job at LWPGM
Oct 14th - Philly 
Oct 30th - Jonny's visit to Atl
Dec 25th~Dec 30th - Keedai's visit to see me  2006 - Feb 1st - Was mentioned on the radio Feb 14th - Super fun Valentine's Day w/ Daikee and my friends Feb 16th - BEAT KEEDAI IN MINIGOLF!!!! Feb 21st - Surprise in Philly March 23rd? - Was screwed over by a teacher for the first time ever in a major way April 21st - 4 year anniversary. Got roses at work for the first time.
May 18th? - Best surprise bday present by me. June 10th - First road trip w/ the sibs to Valdosta. June 20th - Start serving as backstage director at Upstreet. June 27th - June 30th - Best birthday season ever. Sept 4th - Gerald & Angie's wedding, day drip to Chicago. Nov 23rd - 1st Thanksgiving w/ Daikee Nov 24th - 1st time Black Friday shopping at 5 a.m. Dec 14th - Christmas dinner w/ "Mr. and Mrs. Kim" Dec 15th - Roy's. Finally. In three years.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? 2004 - Successfully
completing an internship which involved a 18 hr work load, two jobs,
cabinet mtgs, and getting there by 9 every morning
2005 - Working a full time job while looking after two kids with one car 2006 - Winning a lost election
9. What was your biggest failure? 2004 - Biology... wait that wasn't 2004... ummm gaining weight?
2005 - trying to befriend a jerk at work 2006 - Losing two friends...
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? 2004 - i fell down the stairs and bruised my butt... 
2005 - i did the same thing again... 2006 - and again...
11. What was the best thing you bought? 2004 - My cell phone and my laptop and a new pant-suit
2005 - A new car (which i still haven't put pictures up of...) A new wardrobe and accessories to start work... 2006 - My new cell phone... best thing i stole... Daikee's new cell phone ;)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration
2004 - Keedai for putting up w/ me and trying to keep up w/ my weird habits
Jonny for tolerating all my PMS-ing and cleaning out Daikee's cage
Lydia for putting up w/ me and for staying strong after everything she's been thru this semester
Grace for memorizing all those verses in December!
Matthew for being the all-around stud he tries to be 
2005 - Keedai for being the best bf ever and for getting thru greek
Lydia - For finding something she really wants to do even if that means she's all alone in Korea
Lissette - For being brave and leaving her bf of 3 years and moving on...
Grace and Matthew - For trying to make this work 2006 - Keedai for always trying to make me happy and loving me /for/ my weaknesses Lydia - For staying strong. No matter what. Grace - For being patient and start piano Matthew - For trying.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? 2004 - Me.
2005 - Me. but less than last year. 2006 - Lisa. Me. Bob.
14. Where did most of your money go? 2004 - I don't know. I ask myself that everyday.
2005 - Food and Christmas presents. 2006 - Food, parents, IRA, taxes, and Daikee.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? 2004 - Really good pineapples and watching 24 w/ Lydia and Keedai (What can I say? I'm easily amused.)
2005 - Keedai visiting me last week. 2006 - Keedai visiting me, losing a lost election, and my birthday.

2005 - Same. And more memorizing of verses. 2006 - Working out more.

2005 - I did do less of the above. Yay for self control. This year... less eating out. 2006 - Bad driving. 
20. How did you spend Christmas? 2004 - With
family at home. O and waiting for a present from Keedai that didn't
come until two weeks into the new year (stupid postal system)
2005 - With family at home. And then w/ Keedai.  2006 - Picked my dad up from the airport then with the whole family at home. Dinner w/ the Kangs.
22. Did you fall in love in 2006? 2004 - n/a
2005 - Yes 2006 - Remained.
23. How many one-night stands? 2004 -
None.
2005 - None. 2006 - None.
24. What was your favorite TV program? 2004 - Friends and 24 and Sex and the City and Apprentice (Season 1) o. and Outback Jack (with Grace and Matthew )
2005 - Friends and 24 and The OC and Lost and Gilmore Girls. I'm branching out w/ what i watch. 2006 - 24. Heroes. The OC. Friends. are the best shows. Gilmore Girls, Nip/Tuck are tolerable. Lost sucks but I have to watch b/c I started.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? 2004 - I don't think so... I occasionally hate Jonny more often... 
2005 - I don't think so... I occasionally hate Jonny more often.... (nothing changes... ) 2006 - Just one person.
26. What was the best book you read? 2004 - hmmm Angels and Demons only cuz it was entertaining
2005 - Harry Potter 6? The Cinderella Hour? Nothing great really... 2006 - I can't think of anything.
27. What was your greatest discovery? 2004 - Learning to wake up on time. o. and the most perfect pair of boots ever.

- It's not that hard to find a job. My twin. A new cool
girlfriend. And that having close girlfriends are vital to
existance. And a cheap $35 pair of tan boots!!! (but not as perfect as
my black ones of course) 2006 - I can survive at home. I love the SDA. Heroes is a great show. (but the last one is credited to Keedai)
28. What did you want and get? 2004 - A laptop, camera phone, and MY BOOTS 
2005 - A job and to see my bf on Christmas Day. 2006 - The best birthday ever. The title of best surpriser ever. Spending Thanksgiving with my bf. All 10 Season of Friends...
29. What did you want and not get? 2004 - Spring Break...
2005 - All 10 seasons of Friends on DVD and to spend New Years' w/ my bf... 2006 - New Years w/ my bf and a new job
30. What was your favorite film of this year? 2004 - The Incredibles
2005 - Hitch? There were a lot of decent movies but nothing outstandingly amazing... 2006 - Wedding Date.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 2004 - O geez... 22. and was sad.
2005 - 23... not too memorable... went to the dmv w/ my brother to get his license... 2006 - 24. Spent the day w/ my bf and sister. Best bday season ever.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? 2004 - More time and money.
2005 - Paying off my debts, peace w/in my brother and to spend more time w/ my honey bear 2006 - Staying out of debt, peace w/in my brother, and see more of my Daikee.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? 2004 - I fell into the T-shirt and Jeans black hole i miss getting dressed up but dont have the motivation for it
2005 - T-shirt/Jeans for A quad, Tank/Jean Skirt for B quad, business dress for the rest of the year. 2006 - Business dress for work. Jeans and anything black for casual.
34. What kept you sane? 2004 - Keedai. Lydia. Jonny. and 24. and Sex and the City.
2005 - Keedai. Lydia. Aaron. Emily. Lissette. 2006 - Keedai. "My" SDA. Jonny while I'm at work.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? 2004 - Umm... i don't do celebrities... Matthew Perry?
2005 - I don't usually like celebrities, but for a brief period, Ryan McKenzie was cute. 2006 - Hmm. No one in particular this year.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? 2004 - The Election of 2004 and the lack of solid candidates.
2005 - The whole war on iraq thing... 2006 - Nothing in particular.
37. Who did you miss? 2004 - My family when I was away from home and my friends when I'm at home... o. and a few old high school friends in korea...
2005 - My family when we're apart, and all my Wheaton friends, esp Lydia and Keedai. 2006 - My family, Lydia, Keedai, and Cloee...
38. Who was the best new person you met? 2004 - Marion. 
2005 - Lissette and Aaron 2006 - Lindsey.
39. What do you look forward to in 2006? 2004 - Getting back to school... getting picked up and 1000th. and 1100th. and 3 year. and figuring out what to do w/ life...
2005 - 4 year... Seeing my honeybear again soon... 2006 - Possibly going back to school. Hopefully this summer. Seeing my Daikee soon.
40. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005: 2004 - Be nice to ppl... And value your friends...
2005 - Sometimes all you can do is grin and bear it. Don't compromise.
2006 - Don't be lazy. Just say no.

Just wanted to state for the record.
=edit= In response to Joel, Jonny, and Keedai's comments, I said the Gilmore Girls is the best show on tv "NOW." Come January of course, 24 will replace Gilmore Girls as it is the best show EVER. But as of this fall, Gilmore Girls is the best. | | |
